At Sawera Traders, we strive to provide excellent warehousing and storage services. This refund policy outlines the terms and conditions under which refunds may be processed for our storage services.
2. Refund Eligibility
Refunds may be considered under the following circumstances:
- Service cancellation within 24 hours of booking confirmation
- Inability to provide promised storage space due to facility limitations
- Significant service disruption caused by our facility or operational issues
- Overcharging or billing errors on our part
- Failure to meet agreed service standards as outlined in the service agreement
3. Non-Refundable Services
The following are generally non-refundable:
- Storage fees for services already provided
- Handling and loading/unloading charges
- Administrative and documentation fees
- Insurance premiums paid
- Security deposits (refundable separately as per terms)
- Services cancelled after goods have been received at our facility
4. Refund Process
To request a refund, clients must:
- Submit a written refund request to our customer service team
- Provide booking reference number and payment details
- Specify the reason for the refund request
- Submit the request within 7 days of the incident or service cancellation
- Provide any supporting documentation if required
5. Refund Timeline
Once a refund request is approved:
- Processing time: 5-7 business days from approval
- Bank transfer refunds: 3-5 working days
- Credit card refunds: 5-10 working days (depending on bank)
- Cash payments: Immediate upon facility visit with proper documentation
6. Partial Refunds
Partial refunds may be applicable in cases of:
- Early termination of long-term storage contracts
- Downgrade of storage space requirements
- Service disruptions affecting only part of the storage period
- Billing adjustments for unused services
7. Security Deposit Refunds
Security deposits are refundable upon:
- Complete removal of all stored items
- Facility inspection showing no damage
- Settlement of all outstanding dues
- Return of access keys and documentation
- Proper closure of storage agreement
8. Refund Deductions
From approved refunds, we may deduct:
- Processing fees (up to 2% of refund amount)
- Bank charges for refund transfers
- Costs for services already rendered
- Any outstanding dues or penalties
9. Advance Payment Refunds
For advance payments:
- Advance payments for future periods may be refunded with 48-hour notice
- Annual payment discounts may be adjusted for early termination
- Unused portions of pre-paid services are eligible for refund
10. Cancellation Refunds
Service cancellation refunds are processed as follows:
- Within 24 hours: 100% refund (minus processing fees)
- 24-48 hours: 75% refund
- 48-72 hours: 50% refund
- After 72 hours: No refund (unless exceptional circumstances)
11. Dispute Resolution
If you disagree with our refund decision:
- Contact our customer service manager within 7 days
- Provide additional documentation if available
- Request escalation to senior management
- Consider mediation if mutual agreement cannot be reached
12. Special Circumstances
Refunds may be considered in special circumstances such as:
- Natural disasters affecting our facility
- Government regulations preventing service delivery
- Medical emergencies affecting the client
- Force majeure events beyond our control
13. Refund Methods
Refunds will be processed through:
- Same payment method used for original transaction
- Bank transfer to verified account
- Cash refund at our facility (with proper identification)
- Adjustment against future services (if requested)
14. Documentation Required
For refund processing, please provide:
- Original receipt or payment confirmation
- Service agreement or booking confirmation
- Valid identification proof
- Bank account details (for transfers)
- Any relevant correspondence or documentation
